A Spooky Romp Through New Orleans

October 31, 2020 Matthew Arrington

Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 in the Garden District

Happy Halloween everyone! In honor of this spooky holiday, I’d like to share a few photos I took while exploring New Orleans in December of 2016. The history of this beautiful city, with areas nearly untouched since the late 1800’s, allowed my girlfriend (now wife!) and I to take a step back in time. Enjoy!

Along the wall near the entrance to Lafayette Cemetery.

A dusk stroll around historic Bourbon St.

A peek into an empty Bourbon St bar.

Where you can get all of your vital Voodoo accoutrements.

A lonely unicorn…

The Trolly!

Occult Capitalism…

What could be scarier than street dogs in the French Quarter?

An aspirational street sign if ever I saw one.
